Zamak metal elements are manufactured using a casting process. Therefore, slight variations in the size of the threading hole may occur, and the width of the leather cord or other materials may also vary slightly. To make threading easier, slightly bevel the edges of the leather/cord with scissors. The beveled edges will later be hidden inside the clasp.
