Hand-sewn and dyed silk ribbon made of Crêpe Satin, approx. 2cm wide, in Radiant Orchid for the creation of bracelets, necklaces or other creative ideas.
Crêpe Satin has two different sides. The upper side is smooth and shiny, the underside is matt and slightly rougher. Crêpe Satin combines, in addition to its special two-sided different look, the shine of smooth silk with the crease resistance of crepe. Due to the dense weaving of the silk threads, Crêpe Satin is opaque.
The ribbon made of Crêpe Satin 09 was sewn with 100% silk yarn and a tightly woven stitch so that it stays in shape and does not stretch. The silk stretches a little after dyeing. The ends are tapered and hemmed. The protruding silk sewing thread makes it easy to thread pearls or other decorative materials. A beautiful silk ribbon, opaque and very elegant.
