Description

Hand-sewn and dyed silk ribbon made of Crêpe Satin, approx. 2cm wide, in Petrol for the creation of bracelets, necklaces or other creative ideas.

Crêpe Satin has two different sides. The upper side is smooth and shiny, while the underside is matt and slightly rougher. Crêpe Satin combines, in addition to its special two-sided appearance, the shine of smooth silk with the crease resistance of crepe. Due to the dense weaving of the silk threads, Crêpe Satin is opaque.

The ribbon made of Crêpe Satin 09 was sewn with 100% silk yarn and a tightly stitched seam so that it keeps its shape and does not stretch. The silk stretches slightly after dyeing. The ends are tapered and hemmed. The protruding silk sewing thread makes it easier to thread pearls or other decorative materials. A beautiful silk ribbon, opaque and very elegant.
